(Morning Sky Omaha, January 22, 2019) Hundreds of local commercial real estate professionals came together at Hilton Omaha in downtown Omaha Saturday evening to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the CREW Omaha Metro.

As promised, the group hosted a party to celebrate women in CRE as well as the men and companies who encourage them.

CREW board members honored past CREW presidents and long-time supporters like Jerry Slusky.

After receiving CREW's first ever "I'm With Her" Award, Slusky shared a funny story about the power of women and CREW National's ability to get him to give up his local claim on the CREW name; at the time of CREW Omaha Metro's foundation, Slusky's annual event - now called CRE Summit - was called Commercial Real Estate Workshop (CREW).

Award recipient Jerry Slusky had guests laughing about the local history of CREW's name.

Fellow award recipients included Lockwood Development Owner/President Chip James, who was recognized with the CREW Catalyst Award, and Baird Holm who was given the Founders Award.

The dinner party continued into the night with cocktails and live music by Omaha cover band Finest Hour.

Sponsors included Baird Holm, Olsson, Lund Company, Shamrock Development, Lamp Rynearson, Colliers International, and E & A Consulting Group.
