Melissa Oestmann has joined Smith Slusky Law as a new partner. Melissa brings her thriving legal practice in domestic and tribal law to the firm.

Melissa graduated from Creighton University School of Law, J.D. in 2010 in Omaha, Nebraska. She practiced in partnership of Oestmann and Albertsen prior to joining Smith Slusky Law in late 2018.
Melissa’s expertise in domestic law has grown to include divorce and family law. She specializes in adoption, child custody, child support, juvenile law, custodianships and guardianships. Melissa is a compassionate attorney. She works to bring her clients’ conclusion to their personal legal matters.

Melissa has been accepted to practice family law in both Winnebago Tribal Court and Ponca Tribal Court.
